Sink and hole-pattern check
The number and spacing of sink holes are measured so the new faucet and any accessories fit without drilling.
Every faucet installation job is different, but most include the steps below. Anything extra found on site is explained before it is added.
The number and spacing of sink holes are measured so the new faucet and any accessories fit without drilling.
Supply lines and shut-offs are checked and replaced if seized, so the new faucet has a reliable feed.
The faucet is set, sealed at the deck, and connected, with care taken not to over-tighten.
Side sprayers, soap dispensers, and pull-down hoses are connected and tested where fitted.
Hot and cold flow are tested, and the base and supply connections are checked for leaks.
Faucet installation in Anaheim starts with measurements, not the box. The hole count and spacing on the sink, the supply configuration underneath, and the clearance to the backsplash or window decide which faucets fit. A like-for-like faucet replacement in the same location, in a single-family home, using the existing unaltered drain and supply, is one of the fixture cases noted on Anaheim permit material, but permit questions for a specific job, especially a remodel that moves piping, are confirmed before work starts, and no blanket no-permit claim is made here.
Anaheim homes vary widely. A West Anaheim tract kitchen may have a standard three-hole sink with seized shut-offs underneath, a Colony bath may need a period-style faucet to match the room, and a newer Anaheim Hills kitchen may use a single-hole pull-down faucet with a different supply layout. Matching the faucet to the sink first avoids the most common installation delay.
The visit is kept simple: look first, explain the cause, then fix and test before leaving.
Call
Call (657) 680-4140 and describe the problem, including where it is and when it started, so the visit can be planned around the right job.
Diagnose
The visit starts with a look at the affected fixture or line and the shut-offs and connections around it, before any work is agreed.
Fix
The repair or installation is carried out, then tested in front of you so you can see the result before the visit ends.
Check
The area is left tidy, old parts are removed, and you get a plain explanation of what was done and what to watch for.
Basin Wrench
Reaches the mounting nuts behind the sink bowl where a standard wrench will not fit. It is how we loosen a stubborn old faucet without scratching the chrome or the counter.
Tube Cutter
Cuts copper pipe square when we replace a corroded supply stub. A clean cut means a clean solder joint and no pinhole leaks down the road.
Soldering Torch
Sweats copper fittings when we repair or extend a supply line. We use it with lead-free solder and pipe thread sealant on threaded connections.
Flaring Tool
Forms a proper flare on copper tubing for compression-style connections. It gives a metal-to-metal seal that holds up better than a hand-tightened ferrule alone.
Pressure Gauge
Reads your home's water pressure before and after the install. If pressure is over 80 psi, we recommend a regulator, because high pressure wears out faucet cartridges fast.
Diamond Hole Saw
Cuts faucet holes in granite and quartz countertops. We tape the surface first and cut slow to prevent chips around the rim.
SharkBite Fittings
Push-to-connect fittings for fast PEX and copper repairs. They let us restore a supply line in minutes when a shut-off valve or stub breaks mid-job.
Work is planned to the 2025 California Plumbing Code, effective for projects submitted on or after 1 January 2026, and to the fixture and venting requirements that apply to this job in Anaheim.
Every connection we make follows the UPC, which California adopts for supply and drain work. That means proper backflow protection, correct materials, and a supply connection that passes inspection if you ever sell the home.

Two-Wrench Method
When we tighten a supply connection, we hold the valve body with one wrench and turn the nut with the other. That stops the torque from twisting the pipe behind the wall, which is how amateurs crack fittings.
Ten-Minute Leak Test
After every install, we run hot and cold water for ten minutes and watch the connections. We also check the drain and the sprayer. If anything weeps, we fix it before we leave the driveway.
01
We measure the sink and supply, confirm a fitting replacement, and fit it with tested connections.
A faucet that fits, seals, and shuts off cleanly.
02
A remodel that moves the sink means new supply routing, which is planned as part of the remodel scope.
The new layout works from correctly routed supplies.
03
We measure the hole pattern first and fit a faucet, plate, or accessory layout that matches it.
A clean deck with no unused holes or forced fittings.
04
We explain the supply, hole, and clearance needs of the model, and fit the one that suits the sink.
A faucet that suits how the kitchen is actually used.
Anaheim fixture work is shaped by very hard water and by the age of the home. The same symptom can have a different cause in a 1960s tract, a Colony house, or a new condo.
Seasonal holiday cooking spikes
Kitchen faucet demand jumps from October through December. Book early if you want a specific day, because our schedule fills fast around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
A faucet ordered without measuring the hole pattern may not fit at all, or may leave gaps that cannot be sealed cleanly.
Problem
Leaks under a new faucet usually mean a supply connection or seal fault, and they are found by checking underneath, not just at the deck.
Our Fix
Original shut-offs that seize must be replaced during installation, or the new faucet cannot be serviced later.
Problem
A pull-down sprayer that will not retract usually means a hose routing or weight problem under the sink, checked during fitting.
Our Fix
We clean or replace the aerator, test the shut-off valves, and check the supply line. If the pipe itself is choked with scale, we recommend a pipe replacement or repipe. Then the new faucet gets the pressure it was designed for.
Problem
A leaking supply line or a bad gasket rots the cabinet floor and can spread mold. By the time you see the puddle, the damage is often already under the sink base.
Our Fix
We find the leak with a pressure gauge and a dry towel test, replace the failed supply line or gasket, and dry the cabinet. If the floor is soft, we tell you so you can plan the repair before it spreads.
Problem
Frozen angle stops are common in Anaheim homes built before 1980. Forcing them can snap the stem and send water everywhere.
Our Fix
We shut off at the main first, then replace the angle stops with new quarter-turn valves. That gives you a shut-off you can actually use next time. We do this before the faucet install, not after.
A fixture that misbehaves wastes water, damages floors, or simply stops working. Here is what the visit covers.

“Effortlessly installed our water tank!”

“I expected a straightforward process, and that's what happened once coordination with building management was sorted; the plumber installed the new water heater efficiently in about two hours. He made sure to check all connections before leaving, which was reassuring.”

“The quote was upfront, and the plumber spent a good hour carefully tracing the leak to an unexpected joint behind a shelf, which was more thorough than my previous experience with another company that missed it entirely. I appreciate that he used a temporary seal until he could return with the proper parts later in the week.”

Our shut-off valve was stuck and I was afraid to touch it. They shut off the main, replaced the valve, and installed the new faucet without a drop spilled. Took about two and a half hours. Solid work.
